How to use netmeeting for web-based CUSeeMe group videoconferencing

NetMeeting: How It Can Work for You
March 21, 2000 http://support.microsoft.com/servicedesks/webcasts/wc032100/wcblurb032100.aspfree Web-based netmeeting services:
CUseeMe is proprietary software from White Pine. CUseeMe supports videoteleconferencing with up to 12 participants and runs on most operating systems.
Having the CUseeMe
experience without buying the software, using Netmeeting:
CUSEEME WORLD - http://www.cuseemeworld.com
A way to experience CUseeMe group videoteleconferening functions without buying the software....by using Netmeeting. Requires a download from the above website...but it's free! CUseeMe World was designed by White Pine software CUSeeMe and NetMeeting users (CUSeeMe is a competitor to NetMeeting that was designed to support multiple video windows). But, White Pine's Meeting Point server now supports NetMeeting users. You can join a variety of different servers with different kinds of discussions going on. Pretty interesting and predicted to be a look into the future of videoconferencing (WhitePine has been the leader in IP-based videoconferencing for quite some time now). CUSeeMe World is also the place to find a lot of Meeting Point servers so you can chat with groups of folks. You will need to register (free) and download the CUseeMe web-based software from the above site, but then can set up and use multiuser videoteleconference rooms. ...give it a try!
